Romania
5 - 12 March 2002
From the 5th to the 12th of
March I was lucky enough to participate in a Trilateral Exchange
between my school; Wales high School, a Romanian school; Mirsa
high School and a Danish school; Bronderslev Gymnasium.
Seven of my fellow pupils came with me;
Carlene, Angela, Ellen, Rebecca, Tom and Michael
who stayed with Romanian students;
Ana-maria, Daniel, Alexandru, Marius, Ciprian and Viorica, respectfully.
I stayied with Florina, her parents and her sister Andreea.
Well, what can I say we had
a wonderful time in Sibiu, Romania.
Here is a taste of what we
did........
This is where we first stepped
foot on Romanian soil at the airport where some of our hosts met
us!

Carlene on the coach during our 6 hour journey from Bucharest
to Mirsa!

On our first full day we set
out to discover Romania. Our first stop was at the Simbata Monastery.

This is a picture of all the
English people who went on the exchange.
Me, Carlene, Becky, Laura, Ellen and Angela with Tom and Michael

This is some of the beautiful
artwork at the Monastery.

And now for lunch........(clockwise
